DFW Car and Toy Museum Inaugural Slot Car Race
Races2U was priviledged to coordinat the first slot car race at the DFW Car and Toy Museum in Forth Worth, Texas. This incredible museum has so many wonderful cars and other exhibits it takes hours (if not days) to see everything. It’s a great place to visit whether you are into cars or not- there is so much to see. One of the non-car highlights is a beautiful slot car track built by David Beattie and Slot Mods. It is a handcrafted replica of Laguna Seca built for Ford Motor Company for the 50th anniversary of the Mustang. Races2U was asked to officiate and run the first race on this track, and we had several skilled racers competing for the trophy.
